Flying the flag for Cornwall as a hub for world class business, local company TRAC have been shortlisted for a prestigious national award for business excellence.
Shortlisted for the Global Sourcing Association (GSA) ‘Outsourcing SME of the Year’ award, TRAC are amongst entrants also shortlisted for GSA awards including Virgin Media Business, Rolls Royce and npower.
CEO for GSA, Kelly Hallard said in a recent statement:
“The number of entries to the GSA UK Awards is at its highest ever. The fact award submissions have increased year on year is a testament to the expanding breadth and depth of innovation and best practice that is taking place across the sourcing industry, with more and more examples of sourcing excellence coming to light.”
The award TRAC are shortlisted for celebrates small and medium sized companies that offer a unique outsourcing service to their clients. TRAC were judged on their innovative and entrepreneurial approach to working with their clients as well as their client satisfaction and retention levels. The national awards are completely independent, and as such are the most highly respected and coveted awards amongst businesses that offer services such as finance, human resource and IT to name a few.
TRAC’s director Jonathan Trethowan explained:
“We are a team of 20 people known in the healthcare industry as regulatory affairs consultants. Our role is to ensure that patients get access to the medicines they need by helping pharmaceutical companies meet safety and quality standards required of their medicines. In the 16 years that we’ve been in business, we’ve always tried to stand out by offering a refreshing and different approach to how we work with our clients. This shortlisting is a well-deserved recognition for the team’s hard work and we are all delighted.”
This news comes just months after TRAC achieved the gold standard accreditation in quality customer service, the ISO9001 certification.
TRAC will now be interviewed by the judges who will decide the winner of the UK’s ‘Outsourcing SME of the Year’ award which is to be announced at the Global Sourcing Association (GSA) awards ceremony in Autumn.
