ISO 9001 Certified – The Gold Standard in Quality

TRAC achieved the ‘ISO 9001:2015 – Quality Management System’ certification by UKAS Accredited Certification Body, BSI (British Standards Institution) in 2017. This achievement shows that we have demonstrated and embedded a best practice approach to quality within our organisation and place customer satisfaction at the heart of our business. With this achievement, our customers can be confident that the the quality of our work and service is world class.

TOPRA Awards

In recognition of our exceptional in-house training and education scheme, TRAC were  shortlisted for the prestigious 2016 TOPRA Excellence Awards.

Kirsty Cotton, our Senior Regulatory Affairs Executive, was awarded the Horizon Award at the 2015 TOPRA Awards for Regulatory Affairs. The Horizon Award recognises outstanding ability in individuals with fewer than five years’ experience in the regulatory profession.

2016 Investors in People – Gold

Since 2012 we have consistently achieved the gold Investors in People accreditation and since 2015,  have retained gold even when measured against a significantly more challenging framework. This year sees us in the top 14% of over 140,000 organisations which enables us to call ourselves excellent employers that provide a brilliant place to work.

2015 Business is GREAT Britain

Matthew Hancock, the Government Business Minister  at the time, recognised TRAC as a ‘brilliant example of a successful small firm’ at the 2015 Business is GREAT Britain awards.

TRAC was awarded the Highly Commended title for the South West region, and was one of the top entries according to judges.

Mr Hancock, said: “TRAC is a brilliant example of a successful small firm run by enterprising and hardworking people.”

2016 Gold Workplace Heath Award

TRAC’s healthy good practices and wellbeing initiatives in the workplace has seen them awarded a Gold in the NHS Cornwall & Isles of Scilly Workplace Health Award Programme. A highly prestigious programme, it achieved approval at national level through the Health and Wellbeing Awards. As a result, TRAC have a happier, healthier more productive team which is to the benefit of our clients. For instance, we see this through our low annual sickness levels of 1.6 days per employee per year, compared to 6.8 days which is the average for the private sector.

2014 Hub Awards Business Leader of the Year

TRAC director, Sarah Trethowan, was named Cornish Business Leader of the Year at the 2014 Hub Awards.

Sarah, who has built TRAC with her husband and co-director – Jonathan, was praised by the judges for her hard work to create a successful and viable business.

The judges were also impressed with Sarah’s ability to combine strong commercial performance with a commitment to staff wellbring.

2013 IoD South West Director of the Year

TRAC’s director Sarah Trethowan was named 2013 Director of the Year at the Institute of Directors’ (IoD) South West Business Awards. The awards recognise and celebrate the role of leaders and their contribution to the South West region.

2012 Cornwall Business Awards

TRAC received two accolades at the 2012 Cornwall Business Awards.  As well as the Excellence in Marketing Award, director Sarah Trethowan was named Entrepreneur of the Year. The annual awards are organised by Cornwall Development Company to celebrate the achievements of the county’s business community.

2013 Unlocking Potential Individual Achievement Award

Regulatory Affairs Consultant Kirsty Cotton was presented with the Individual Achievement Award at the Unlocking Potential celebration event.  This event recognises the impact graduates have in facilitating the growth of Cornish businesses. Kirsty was singled out for her work in creating an internal tool to improve productivity and service quality at TRAC.

2012 Cornwall Works WISE Awards

Regulatory Affairs Consultant, Shilpa Jain received the Individual Award for Innovation at the 2012 Cornwall Works WISE Awards. The awards are an annual celebration recognising excellence in employment and skills activity. They highlight the role that the European Social Fund (thorough the Convergence Programme) plays in employment, skills, training and innovation across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

2012 iNets South West Biomedical Innovation Awards

TRAC received the Growth Award at the 2012 iNet’s South West Biomedical Innovation Awards held in Bristol.  The Awards, in partnership with Medilink South West, recognised companies in the region that have achieved success in five areas – Start up, Innovation, Growth, NHS Partnership and Export.
