TRAC’s Director named as finalist for South West Director of the Year

TRAC’s Company Director Sarah Trethowan is delighted to be named as one of three finalists in the ‘Director of the Year’ category at this year’s South West Institute of Directors (IoD) Awards.

The winner will be announced at a special ‘Evening with Entrepreneurs’ dinner held on Thursday 9th June in Bristol and will then go forward to represent the South West at the IoD National Director of the Year Awards held in London in the autumn.

‘Director of the Year’ is one of nine categories in the IoD awards that have been created to recognise and celebrate the role of leaders and their contribution to the South West region.  The judges were very impressed by the high standard of entries this year and the strong level of leadership demonstrated by directors from a wide variety of different companies.

Winners will be selected by a judging panel using criteria of business success, financial performance, managing growth, employee engagement, innovation, reputation management and ethical behaviour. 

“I’m delighted to be selected as a finalist for the award; it’s great to be recognised in this way.  The South West is a fantastic location to run a business and the awards present an ideal opportunity to celebrate local business success” said Sarah.

The South West Region of the IoD is one of the most active in the UK with over 3,000 members across 6 branches.
