Expansion continues for TRAC Services with new appointment
1st August 2008
Award winning regulatory affairs consultancy TRAC has further strengthened its team with the appointment a new regulatory affairs executive.
Lisa Pascoe (24) has joined the fast growing Cornish company, having graduated last year from Southampton University with a Biochemistry degree, and is the latest member of the team to join TRAC’s highly successful graduate training programme.
Lisa will initially spend her time working on the readability side of the business, which involves running focus groups to help improve patient information leaflets. In time she will also work within the regulatory side of the business ensuring TRAC’s pharmaceutical clients have the appropriate licensing, marketing and legal compliance in place.
“As a graduate it can often be a struggle to find a company that is willing to recruit you with minimum industry experience. I really wanted to stay in Cornwall and use my degree, but I did not want lab-based work. So I was really excited to find such a forward thinking and progressive company as TRAC. I was very interested in regulatory affairs and after speaking to the team and learning about their graduate recruitment scheme I knew this was a great opportunity for my career,” said Lisa.
Sarah Trethowan who launched TRAC in 2001 with her husband Jonathan welcomed Lisa to the business.
TRAC Director Sarah Trethowan says: “We’re delighted to have been able to bring Lisa on board and she has already become a strong member of the team. She has a great degree behind her and will be working through our in-house training programme which is at the heart of our company development,” said Sarah.
