TRAC Scoops Prestigious Business Award

We are delighted to announce yet another success for TRAC – this time at the prestigious Cornwall Business Awards where Jonathan and Sarah – the driving forces behind the launch and continued growth of the company – were named Business Leaders of the Year.

Attended by the leading businesses in Cornwall – covering everything from tourism to manufacturing , and of course Regulatory Affairs, TRAC was short listed in a number of categories, finishing runner up in the Business Improvement through People award, before Jonathan and Sarah were named Business Leaders of the Year.

Beating off strong competition from some of the county’s top businesses, the award is the latest in a string of business accolades that the company has achieved. According to TRAC director Jonathan Trethowan, Business Leaders Award is particularly pleasing given the competition that the company was up against.

“To be named Business Leaders of the Year is a major accolade for us and one we are absolutely thrilled about. We were up against some very popular consumer businesses, so for a Regulatory Affairs consultancy to take this top award, which has helped to put the industry on the business map in the region, is something we are extremely proud of,” said Jonathan.

Since launching TRAC in 2001, Jonathan and Sarah have seen the business grow consistently, securing contracts with a wide range of national and international pharmaceutical companies, expanding its range of services and developing a highly acclaimed internal training programme, to help bring new Regulatory Affairs specialists into the industry.

TRAC also recently achieved the ISO9001 standard, one of only a very few Regulatory Affairs specialists in the UK to achieve the standard.

“TRAC Services has grown substantially over the last year, and the credit can be given to the excellent leadership at the helm.  Steering the company on a positive course through the downturn, in the face of blue chip competition, required careful planning and a genuine business nous, and Sarah and Jonathan have those attributes in spades,” said Nick Blandford, Business Enterprise Manager at the Cornwall development Company.
