TRAC Achieves ISO 9001 Standard

Following an independent assessment of its internal management processes and systems, Regulatory Affairs specialist TRAC has been awarded the ISO 9001 standard.

One of only a very few organisations within the Regulatory Affairs industry to achieve the globally recognised standard for providing assurance about the ability to satisfy quality requirements and to enhance customer satisfaction in supplier-customer relationships, the award is the latest achievement in the development of the fast growing company.

According to TRAC Director Sarah Trethowan, whilst the process to achieve ISO9001 reinforced that many of the systems required were very much already in place within the company, it was important that the standard be achieved and recognised officially.

“Our role is about providing our clients with a range of services and a standard of work which they can trust in and benefit from time and time again, and one way of demonstrating our commitment to delivering quality standards is through ISO 9001, which we are delighted to have achieved.”

“The initial assessment did not highlight many areas where changes to our internal management and reporting procedures needed to be made. We were very pleased about this. Not only did this demonstrate that we had already put a lot of the required processes in place from the outset, but it enabled us to focus on those areas where we needed to implement new procedures to improve our systems and levels of service and by doing so achieve the accreditation,” said Sarah.

“With clients operating around the World, resulting in us dealing with offices and departments on a worldwide scale, it is important that our existing and prospective customers recognise the emphasis we put on delivering consistent levels of service and the ISO 9001 is an internationally recognised way of demonstrating that,” she added.
