TRAC Shortlisted for Western Morning News ‘Employer of the Year’ Business Award

The Western Morning News has announced that TRAC has been shortlisted for Employer of the Year at its inaugural business awards that take place during global entrepreneurship week on 17th November.

The panel of judges, representing some of West Country’s most influential and respected  members of the business community, judged 248 entries across 14 categories from organisations within Devon, Cornwall, Isles of Scilly and parts of Somerset and Dorset.

Employer of the Year award, sponsored by FootAnstey, recognises businesses that have understood that the key to success is a happy, motivated workforce which understands and is working towards the company’s core strategy.  TRAC has been commended for its continuous approach to developing employees’ skills and experiences to ensure they reach their full potential particularly through its lifelong learning programme.

TRAC has been shortlisted for the award with two other companies.  Results will be announced at a glittering awards ceremony on the 17th November at St Mellion International Resort.  The evening is hosted by BBC Spotlight presenter Janine Jansen and includes guest speaker Tom Henderson, founder and Chief Executive of Shelterbox.

The event is expected to attract more than 350 people across the business community providing a unique opportunity to celebrate and reward the businesses and individuals who are right at the heart of the West Country.

‘Employer of the Year’ is the fourth award TRAC has recently been shortlisted for.   All four results will be announced at events throughout November.
