The outstanding work and commitment of TRAC team member Graham Donaldson has been officially recognised at a Business Awards ceremony.
Graham, who has worked at TRAC for 3 years was presented with the Hub Contributor of the Year Award at the fourth annual Hub Awards Ceremony.
The awards are organised by the Hub, Cornwall’s dynamic business network, to celebrate the success of young business people across Cornwall, with the Contributor of the Year award judged by the steering committee and awarded to a member who has shown outstanding commitment to the network over the last year.
Rachel Picken, Hub committee member said: “Graham is a true ambassador for the Hub. His friendly face at events welcomes new members and he can always be relied on to bring friends and help grow our membership. We need members like Graham to ensure we are working towards our goals.”
Graham was delighted to receive the award.
“The Hub is a really good organisation that gives young business people from a wide range of companies the opportunity to meet up, share experiences and discuss some of the issues, challenges and opportunities facing them on a regular basis.
“So to be picked out and given the Contributor of the Year Award is fantastic given there are a lot of very good people involved in it,” said Graham.
Sarah Trethowan of TRAC says the qualities that saw Graham take the Hub Award are seen every day in his role at TRAC.
“I think the judges were spot on when they highlighted Graham’s commitment, enthusiasm and good nature. These are evident in the office and in the work that he does and we are delighted that he has won this award,” said Sarah
Allyson Glover, who set up the successful graduate placement scheme Unlocking Cornish Potential (UCP), headed up the judging panel for the awards.
She said: “It was refreshing and inspiring to see so many people embracing business and making a success of it in Cornwall.
“We were so impressed with the enthusiasm and vision amongst these entrepreneurs and employees – the future of business in Cornwall is certainly safe in their hands.”
