At TRAC we believe that the training and development of our team is very important. Because of this we aspire to provide a workplace that encourages and supports the continued development of our employees' knowledge. As a result our team consists of seasoned experts whose regulatory knowledge is kept refreshed by our innovative training programme.
Healthy Workplace Award
In January 2012 TRAC achieved the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Silver Healthy Workplace Award which is a county standard of good practice and a quality mark of health and wellbeing in the workplace.
The scheme provides a tool kit to encourage companies to think about ways to improve the health and wellbeing of their employees providing steps to achieve and improve in a wide range of health areas within ten award criteria.

Life Long Learning
TRAC has adopted TOPRA's Life Long Learning Scheme (LLL) which recommends a target of between 50-100 hours of all types of LLL per year. The scheme is a tool for personal and professional planning and development and its broad concept includes a range of informal/formal training delivered in-house or externally facilitated. TRAC's aim is to encourage continuous professional development of its employees.

Investors in People
TRAC first gained the Investors in People (IIP) standard in 2007 and in 2009 was awarded silver recognition putting TRAC in the top 2% of IIP accredited organisations. The award recognises our commitment to staff training and development.

Train to Gain
Train to Gain is a government scheme that encourages ongoing training and development. We participated in this scheme as we believe that maintaining a team who has access to regular training significantly contributes towards ensuring our position at the forefront of regulatory affairs.

Skills Pledge
